Port Ghalib is one of the Red Sea's most elegant marina towns — a stylish, pedestrian-friendly resort built around a luxurious marina, palm-lined promenades, and direct access to some of the best dive sites in Marsa Alam. It is the closest marina to Marsa Mubarak, where dugongs and sea turtles feed on seagrass beds, and serves as the departure point for many Red Sea liveaboards. With upscale restaurants, shops, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, it combines modern resort comfort with the wild beauty of the southern Red Sea.

When to travel
Port Ghalib enjoys year-round sunshine and warm sea temperatures from 22°C to 28°C. The best months for diving and snorkeling — especially for encountering dugongs at Marsa Mubarak and dolphins at Sataya — are from October to May, when visibility is highest and seas are calmest. Summer is very hot on land but the sea remains warm, making it good for early-morning dives. Winter offers mild daytime temperatures around 22–24°C, ideal for combining marine adventures with relaxed evenings.
