Fabulous family day out, with friendly, professional and accommodating staff from start to finish.
I booked this for us 6 adults via Hurghada ToGo and was contacted by Ahmed via WhatsApp to advise on the itinerary and to confirm costs, his messages were clear and helpful.
Ahmed arrived promptly in a clean, air conditioned minibus with WiFi, snacks and cold drinks and drove us safely to the marina where he ensured that we had well fitting mask, snorkel and fins.
The boat “Freedom” was staffed by Adam and his team who explained the itinerary and safety briefing. Within 30 minutes of setting off we spotted dolphins and about 10 minutes later we were swimming with them! It’s fair to say that the dolphins weren’t frolicking with us all like some photos might suggest but to be in the warm sea, snorkelling and seeing wild dolphins in their natural habitat beneath us was exhilarating regardless.
This element does require a good standard of swimming, literally jumping in from the back of the boat and swimming to try to reach the dolphins before they move away.
We had a few goes of this, with the captain skilfully navigating us to an area close enough to the dolphins without disturbing them.
Shortly after this we were at a large coral reef where we enjoyed the opportunity to snorkel in a more leisurely way.
For all water activity there were multiple English speaking crew in the water with us, offering a float to those who needed it and with lifejackets available for anyone who wanted one.
A freshly cooked, delicious lunch followed the reef snorkel. Throughout the trip we had limitless soft drinks plus coffee.
After lunch we snorkelled at another coral reef then finished the trip with a really fun ride on a sofa float, towed at speed by a small motorboat.
If you’re undecided on this trip, don’t hesitate, book it! Whether you’re a swimmer or not you will marvel at the beautiful nature of this area and will not be disappointed with Ahmed and the boat crew who took great care to ensure that everyone had a wonderful, memorable day.

A beautiful day out on our boat trip.
We were picked up from our hotel Le Reve Premier and taken to the port ( c 20 mins) in a minibus @ 07.30 and dropped back @ 16.30.
The boat was extremely comfortable, spacious and not crowded at all.
The crew were excellent and attentive.
First stop Giftun Island then another Island and then a coral reef in the middle of the ocean.
We did two wonderful snorkelling excursions – the second one was spectacular.
Soft drinks and Tea & Coffee (note no alcohol, but you can buy a beer at Giftun Island as you stop there for 1 1/2)
Lunch was very nice.
Highly recommend this trip and very well hosted.
Also Adam the camera man takes photos and videos of you underwater which you can buy for €30 extra

This trip was amazing from start to finish.
Ahmed picked us up from our hotel, the mini bus was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and had wifi. He had free snacks and ice cold drinks for everyone and nothing was too much of a problem for him. He came onto the boat with us to ensure we where safe and comfortable then told us where to get him after the experience.
The boat staff and tour guide where all lovely people, very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.
As someone who can’t swim, I was made to feel safe while taking part in snorkelling, I was given a life jacket and snorkelling equipment which the guide put on properly for me, he then came into the sea with me, he had a ring at one end I had the other and he stayed with me at all times, reassuring me and putting me at ease, I can honestly say that this is an experience that will stay with me forever as I never thought I would be able to take part in it as a non swimmer.
100% fully recommend this trip as part of your Egyptian experience

Very good day out. Communication with driver was clear and we were collected in a very nice “VIP” car with snacks, drinks and aircon.
Once on the boat we found the dolphins and we’re given lots or chances to swim and snorkel. All the food on the boat was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our driver Ahmed was excellent, picked up from our hotel 5 mins early. Provided drinks and snacks for the trip. Took us to the boat and secured front spot for us. Boat trip was amazing, saw lots of wild dolphins and managed to swim with them. Crew were great, really went out of their way to find the dolphins. Two great snorkeling stops, saw beautiful fish and corals. Great care was taken by the crew to look after everyone in the water. Lunch and drinks provided. Lunch was good, chicken, fish, beef, salads, potatoes and rice, followed by watermelon. Inflatable ride was after lunch then back to shore. Ahmed was ready to collect us and provided cold orange juice and more snacks before dropping back at hotel. Whole day was brilliant and very well organised. Excellent trip and great value for money.

Such an amazing trip, couldn’t recommend it enough. All the staff take care of you and so many amazing snorkelling opportunities. The coral reefs and fish you see are gorgeous. We were very fortunate enough to swim with the dolphins as well. The lunch served is delicious and because they don’t have more than 30 guests onboard it’s not crowded or cramped. Really lovely day and if you’re thinking of booking it, do it! Such good value for money.

Můj manžel a já jsme si rezervovali tento výlet na líbánky v Egyptě. Byli jsme vyzvednuti z našeho hotelu v krásném minibusu a každý dostal láhev vody a nějaké občerstvení. Služba byla skvělá a měli jsme báječný den. Na výletě jsme viděli asi 2 nebo 3 delfíny a během šnorchlování jsme viděli tolik ryb včetně manty, což byl velmi skvělý zážitek! Jídlo na oběd bylo také skvělé! Je to skvělý způsob, jak zažít egyptskou kuchyni. Tento výlet je nutností v Hughadě!

We had a great trip with Ahmed. We were a bit late with booking, but could go the next morning. He came to pick us up exactly on time, had a bit of lunch for us.
We went with a boat with crew to “find” dolphins. We had a nice time snorkeling and enough drinks on the boat. We had to change the plans for the boat trip as the dolphins were further away than expected. We managed to find them and it was absolutely amazing to swim with them. There were no other boats around and we had surely 30min swimming at very close range, 1m from them.
The staff of the boat was nice, they did their best.
Bit a point of critique was (something Ahmed had already alerted us for) the photo shoots, and the absolutely ridiculous prizes this photographer asks for the photos, like 45euro. It’s quite nice to have pictures taken on such a beautiful trip, but then asking such prices, scammy. But again, Ahmed told us about it and we didn’t do it.
Good to know, most probably when you see the dolphins it will (of course) be on open sea and there can be a bit of waves; you need a bit of swimming skills

Amazing experience with Ahmed, he had patience with us because we were a bit late but he was nice.
We had plans changing so we could see the dolphins as they weren’t in the usual area and the crew wanted us to have that experience (super great crew) and we found a group of dolphins with also baby dolphins 🥰.. absolutely amazing, i was so happy.
Then, we had banana water fun and others.
The staff offered us lunch, quite nice and also plenty of it.
We had also snacks, both in the morning as in the afternoon.
Absolutely great people and professional 🙂!
